Изключително запазен екземпляр на Ferrari F40 постави нов абсолютен рекорд за модела, след като бе продаден за сумата от 1,12 млн. евро, съобщава Worldcarfans.

Въпросният автомобил е произведен през 1992 година и е имал само един собственик до момента. Общо от Ferrari F40 са произведени 1311 бройки, като това е последният модел, произведен под ръководството на основателя на компанията Енцо Ферари. Италианската спортна марка го предлага на пазара между 1987 и 1992, след което го заменя с по-малко популярния сред колекционерите F50.

На проведения на пистата Нюрбургринг търг на компанията Coys бяха продадени и други редки возила. Сред тях са BMW 328 Roadster от 1937 година, Ferrari 360 Modena от 2003 година, Lamborghini Espada SII от 1971 г. и др.
