Певицата Кари Ъндърууд стана рекордьор по дигитални продажби на сингли на кънтри изпълнител, съобщи Contactmusic, цитирана от БТА.

Изпълнителката, чиято кариера тръгна стремглаво нагоре, след като спечели шоуто "Американски идол" през 2005 г., е продала над 29,6 милиона копия от синглите си.

Хитът ѝ "Before He Cheats" е сертифициран от Асоциацията на звукозаписната индустрия в САЩ като пет пъти платинен, а скорошният й сингъл "Little Toy Guns" е на път да стане златен.

С постижението си Кари Ъндърууд, която е носителка на седем награди "Грами", изпреварва кънтри певеца Джейсън Олдийн, продал 23,5 милиона сингъла в дигитален формат.

Ъндърууд обаче далече не може да се мери с рекордьорката Риана, чиито дигитални продажби на сингли надхвърлят 100 милиона.
