С молебен за здраве и благоденствие в Мизия ще бъде отбелязана първата годишнина от опустошителното наводнение в града, съобщава БНР.
Голяма част от пострадалите, близо 1 200 души, все още не са възстановили домовете си, засегнати от наводнението.
„Няма пари за възстановяване. Всеки се справя самостоятелно, кой - както може. Много са малко хората, които успяха да направят някакъв ремонт, за да влязат в домовете си. Повечето са стегнали там една стаичка, в мухъла, във влагата. Каквото можем поправяме, белосваме, изхвърляме, чистим, с наши средства работим, отделяме. Върнахме се поне 20 години назад”, споделят хората.
„Големият нерешен проблем е възстановяване на частните имоти. Известно е, че държавата осигурява средства в размера на данъчните оценки, които са твърде ниски и това възпрепятства хората”, коментира Кметът Виолин Крушовенски.
За да получат обезщетение, пострадалите трябва да платят за проекти за ремонтите и да вложат собствени средства, част от които, след това да им бъдат върнати.
Липсата на собствени средства, за да се финансират тези ремонти, възпрепятства техните възстановителни работи, каза още кметът.
През април България получи от Фонда за солидарност на Европейския съюз 1 милион и 980 хиляди евро, заради наводненията в Мизия и Крушовица от миналата година. Парите бяха отпуснати от Европейската комисия, за да се покрият част от разходите за възстановителни дейности, спасителни операции и разчистване на засегнатите райони. Тогава от комисията поясниха, че отпуснатата сума съответства на нуждите, декларирани от страната в конкретния случай.
Щетите от наводнението в Мизия бяха оценени от местните власти на 6 милиона лева.
